Description
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures and perform necessary accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
Monitor cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows, and manage working capital. Make recommendations for cash flow optimization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper classification and coding of financial transactions. Review and reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records
Manage both the AR and AP teams to ensure timely and accurate work is completed
Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of experience in Accounting
Management/Supervisory Experience
Manufacturing, CPG or distribution industry experience
CPA or MBA preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP, and other regulatory requirements
Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills
Key attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
