PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Head up a strategy team or large book of business that spans DTC/HCP assignments Serve as go-to client advisor for all things strategy, creative strategy, workshops and marketing research. Establishes and grows relationships with senior clients and builds trust to inform problem and solution identification before a brief Motivate and influence internal multi-disciplinary team to deliver on strategy across creative, engagement, and experience Champion and lead complex enterprise initiatives Build strategy processes and standardized deliverables. Growing internal and external demand for brand strategy and insights across our pharma business Directing ongoing client strategy initiatives, while remaining focused on medium and long-term planning and growth opportunities Bring innovative ideas and passionate storytelling to new business pitches Operational team leadership, owning strategy & insight team resourcing, and partnering with senior leadership Mentoring others to understand and enhance the application of strategy & insights in pharma Partner with department leads to improve inputs and outputs of strategic planning, and establish ways of working to bridge live data to inform future strategy evolution Manage and mentor a team of exceptional strategists KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred 12-15+ years of Patient and HCP marketing experience is required, and experience working in a strategic role for rare disease, oncology, respiratory, or biotech brands is a plus. Some consumer experience is also a plus. Highly motivated, with strong strategic leadership skills A proven track record in establishing and managing effective strategic plans The ability to engage, inspire, and make complex subjects understandable, and engage and inspire more junior members of the team to do the same A proven track record in building brand and disease area architecture, and developing solid strategic brand and tactical plans A proven track record of new business wins in healthcare and understanding/connecting strategy, to engagement to measurement Experience defining strategic platforms across the lifecycle of brands in healthcare Highly experienced in the art of storytelling across creative briefs, strategy, workshops, and client presentations. Ability to craft inspiring creative briefs, strategies and stories Advanced marketing research skills and knowledge, A strong command of market research tools and technologies (Qualitative and Quantitative) Exceptional written and oral communication as well as presentation abilities A drive to be successful and perform well in all aspects of strategic work in an entrepreneurial environment Flexible to work over a number of projects and balance workload Ability to work in one of our office locations, Philly, NY or Baltimore at least twice a month

Salary Range: $240,000-$270,000 annually
