One of our top clients are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Skilled Nursing Facility. The DON will possess exceptional leadership abilities, strong clinical expertise, and a talent for team building. This role requires a visionary leader who prioritizes collaboration and inspires a culture of excellence, accountability, and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and build a cohesive clinical team that aligns with the facility's mission and values.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality care while fostering a supportive environment for staff and residents.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Administrator to develop and implement strategies for team performance, operational efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
- Act as a decisive leader, capable of independently resolving clinical challenges with confidence and expertise.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements related to skilled nursing care.
- Serve as a resource for staff, offering clinical guidance and maintaining high standards of care.
- Promote a culture of accountability through consistent communication and leadership by example.
Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or extensive experience as a Resident Care Manager in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of skilled nursing operations, standards, and regulations.
- Team Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a positive and cohesive team environment.
- Accountability: A proactive problem-solver with the ability to make independent, informed decisions confidently.
