Toward this goal, we have successfully gained FDA approval for five medicines and are continuously conducting new clinical trials.

How you’ll contribute

The Senior Counsel, Regulatory & Compliance role is responsible for a broad range of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues affecting the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. This role provides expert legal support to Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Patient Relations, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Compliance, managing legal responsibilities through the commercial lifecycle of the Company's products.

  1. Provide guidance to various departments related to healthcare laws and regulations.
  2. Serve as Legal representative on the Company's promotional review committee.
  3. Support the build-out of the Company’s Patient Relations function.
  4. Review Needs Assessment Forms related to HCP consulting activities.
  5. Assist with the review, drafting, and revising of compliance-related policies.
  6. Participate in and provide guidance to the Company’s Compliance Committee.
  7. Manage outside counsel on compliance and regulatory matters.
  8. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

For this role you will need

  1. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  2. 10+ years of experience as an attorney.
  3. 8+ years of experience in healthcare and FDA law.
  4. 4+ years of experience as in-house counsel at a pharmaceutical or biotech company.
  5. Effective communicator and collaborative team member.
  6. Strong written communication and drafting skills.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. Must be able to travel to RTP, NC at a minimum of one week per month.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Veeva PromoMats.

The salary for this position ranges from $230,000 to $285,000 per year, eligible for the Company’s incentive programs.
