Mission of the Role

The mission of this role is to identify, assess and hire top talent for Hartfiel Automation. This position is a strategic partner for hiring managers and a compelling company ambassador.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. Full lifecycle recruiting experience for Sales, Service, Back Office and Engineering positions preferred. Experience developing and executing sourcing and recruitment strategies. Ability to use innovative sourcing methods to hire “hard to fill” roles.

Key Corporate Recruiter Accountabilities

  • Drive the complete recruiting function, including clarity of role, research, sourcing, networking, interviewing, extending offers and closing.
  • Partner and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and have a keen sense of negotiation with all “customers” throughout the recruiting process.
  • Identify candidates via professional social media, networking, college relations, and online forums.
  • Embrace and practice “behavior based interviewing techniques” to identify current and predict future candidate performance.
  • Deliver effective and timely communication that keeps others involved in the hiring process informed.
  • Help hiring managers build their virtual bench by introducing top talent within given geographies and building relationships.
  • As a company ambassador, must be able to tell the “Hartfiel Story” well and help candidates identify with the organizations mission / vision.
  • Exceptional closing and negotiation skills required.
  • Ability to maintain an applicant tracking system and move candidates through the hiring process.
  • Execute all HR policies, practices, and processes to ensure legal compliance with regulatory standards and legal obligations governing employee practices.
  • Ensure newly hired employees are on boarded and trained to successfully perform their jobs in a safe manner.
  • May travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
