Job Description
- Set up tanks, filters, and weigh stations for packaging.
- Operate a programmable scale.
- Stage packages to be filled.
- Fill drums, bins, and bulk trailers to desired weights.
- Properly filter and monitor the quality of products.
- Purge heels from lines and clean lines.
- Properly cap and seal packages.
- Label packages accurately.
- Operate a computer to print labels.
- Document packaging processes.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Filter and fill products into packages.
- Sample and monitor product quality.
- Make sampling entries on Macro view.
- Tag piece containers and transfer to Material Handlers.
- Follow BQS procedures.
- Make Macro view queries for tank inventories, product specs, and aliases.
- Clean containers thoroughly.
- Ensure accurate weights when filling.
- Participate in meetings.
- Document activities correctly.
- Read and follow written instructions.
- Perform accurate mathematical computations.
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift.
- Experience with chemical handling and liquid transfer.
- Knowledge of pump operation.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Proficiency in performing accurate mathematical computations.
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- 12-month long contract assignment.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions. The work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No overtime is expected
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.30 - $27.30
