Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 2

Job Description

Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Work with engineers in conducting experiments.

Responsibilities
  • Work with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.
  • Perform rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.
  • Conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct experiments in collaboration with engineers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in bonding, soldering, and assembly is beneficial.
  • Trainable and willing to stay long-term.
  • Blueprint reading
  • Schematic reading
  • Hand tool and power tool experience


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
