As a Senior manager of Corporate Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future and strategic direction of our organization. You will lead our Corporate finance function, including oversight of our company’s long-range plan. Reporting to our Head of Finance, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our team, leveraging your expertise to guide our financial decisions and contribute to our long-term success.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Lead and oversee our consolidated financial planning, including quarterly forecasting cycles, long-range planning, and board reporting, to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Build and manage our company’s long-range financial model alongside strategic insights on the various trade-off considerations between growth and profitability to enhance shareholder value
  • Drive company-wide financial planning processes, including budget target setting across the organization and communications of KPIs for our executive team
  • Support a broad set of initiatives across corporate strategy, investor relations, and business operations
  • Oversee key cash flow forecasting and models for the company, including billings, collections, and cash payments
  • Oversee our finance business partnership to our CFO org, leading budget forecasting and strategic projects
  • Lead our strategic sourcing initiatives in conjunction with long-term targets on non-headcount expenses
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Act as lead partner to our Accounting team for financial close processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

You are a good fit if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience across investment banking, consulting, private equity, or growth-stage tech startups
  • Demonstrated mastery of concepts and best practices for forecasting consolidated financial statements
  • Proven track record of managing strategic, financial, and operational planning processes
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for executive decision-making
  • Experience building and leading teams
  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner with senior executives
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

You'll have an edge if you have:

  • Experience working in a remote-first or distributed team environment, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with remote work
  • Knowledge of enterprise software industry dynamics, including SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing strategies, and recurring revenue models
  • Familiarity with financial modeling tools, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms to streamline financial processes and enhance decision-making capabilities
  • Proven ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving business landscape, demonstrating resilience, flexibility, and a growth mindset

Additional Job details

The base salary range for this position is $165k - $190k annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for a variable pay (based on goal achievement), stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
