Job Description: Pay: $10.45 per hour A Great Wolf, the Bartender provides friendly and responsive service to all guests, ensuring a fun and safe environment. The Bartender prepares cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, has knowledge of common drinks, and makes suggestions to guests. The Bartender also monitors inventory and takes appropriate action to re-stock as necessary. Benefits: -Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance -Health savings account -Telehealth resources -Life insurance -401K with employer match -Paid vacation time off -Paid parental leave Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesServes customers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, cocktails, juices, etc.Prepares garnishes and mixes drinks for guests according to recipesAssess customer needs and preferences and make recommendationsMaintain attractive and orderly appearance of bar area through arrangement of bottles & glasswareEnsure bar area adheres to highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and servicePrepares, cleans, and maintains draught beer equipment; connects couplings to beer barrels and to faucetResponsible for ensuring a safe and secure bar area by enforcing standards and procedures for alcohol consumption; comply with all legal regulationsMonitor customers' alcohol consumption and refuse service and/or call for alternate transportation as necessaryMaintain supplies via ordering, requisitioning, or re-stocking snacks, liquors, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages; replace kegs/beer barrels; prepare garnishesEnhance skillset and knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; stay abreast of industry trends; experiment with new cocktail recipesPerform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting Basic Qualifications & SkillsMust be 21 years of ageMust be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demandsSuccessful completion of criminal background check and drug screen Desired Qualifications & TraitsPrevious bartending training and/or experience; demonstrated knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic beveragesUnderstanding of sanitation-related issues and knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure clean beverage preparation environmentProjects professional image that inspires trust and confidenceEnthusiastic and positive energyMulti-tasking ability Physical RequirementsAble to lift up to 30 lbs.Able to bend, stretch, and twistAble to stand for long periods of time Application Instructions: Click on "Apply Now" or chat with a recruiter (bottom of your screen on Great Wolf's website).
