Job Details

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to manage key financial functions within the organization. This role will report directly to the CFO and will be a critical part of the finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, proficiency with QuickBooks, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment typical of a growing private equity-backed company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including the preparation and maintenance of general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare financial statements and provide insightful variance analysis to management. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (GAAP). Review accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments and receipts. Collaborate with the CFO on financial strategy and operational improvements. Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors. Assist with cash flow management, including monitoring of cash positions and forecasting cash needs. Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls for efficiency and accuracy. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus). Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. Proven experience with QuickBooks, including report generation, reconciliations, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices. Previous experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly growing organization is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
