About the team: As part of our ClearanceJobs New Business Sales team, you will be a front-facing resource to help our constant mission of being the most indispensable career marketplace for the Department of Defense, Homeland Security and Intelligence contracting community along with the Federal Government agencies these companies support. We are responsible for adding new contractors and government entities that are in search of candidates that require a US Security Clearance. About the role: As the Sales Director - Advertising and Branding, you will sell
non-talent acquisition
advertising and media to companies that play in the military/veteran space. You will own and manage your book of business by acquiring net-new clients and re-engaging inactive accounts. You will be doing discovery, demonstrations, and follow-up conversations with prospective clients to help find the right solutions that fit their overall needs. Why we’re hiring for this role: This role is an important part of our 2025 Go-To-Market strategy as we look for opportunities to expand our product offerings to businesses looking to advertise to our highly desirable and engaged audience. What will happen once hired, you will: Be a key individual contributor to driving advertising revenue, ready to hit the ground running with relevant brand and agency relationships with a quarterly sales quota. Proactively build, maintain, and expand on sales targets, advertiser relationships, and sales opportunities. Own the sales cycle from beginning to end; prospecting, identify opportunities, make the right connections, create sales proposals and presentations, respond to RFPs and ideate custom opportunities. Represent the needs of the customer in any internal discussions regarding product innovation, measurement requirements, and customer service. As you progress in the role, you will: Oversee campaign management; reporting, optimization, upsell opportunities and billing. Respond to RFPs and craft strategic annual upfront partnerships by working closely with account management, marketing, product and research teams. Meet with and build relationships with senior level decision makers and media buyers at all levels. Report on revenue projections/forecasts and provide in-depth daily and weekly updates to the VP Sales. What you bring to the ClearanceJobs Sales team: Required: Strong understanding of B2C and B2B advertising and media and the role of Ad agencies in the buying process. Proven track record of building and maintaining a million-dollar plus book of business. An active set of relationships with non-TA brand and agency buyers. A demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals in closing small, medium and large deals with key advertising partners and their respective agencies. Demonstrated ability to create relationships with internal collaborators across teams. Fluency in the language of success behind performance marketing campaigns, including customer acquisition goals, retention, return-on-ad-spend or cost-per-acquisition media buying. Ability to operate independently, multitask, juggle multiple projects and priorities, and thrive in uncertain environments. Preferred: Experience selling sponsorships and custom content integrations is a major plus. Denver pay range:
Base salary/pay plus commissions at 100% of plan targets. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. Salary:
