JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE The Database and IT Asset Administrator will verify and deploy software programs and integrated systems for IT asset inventory control and all database applications in use at VOALA. The Administrator shall integrate the various components, including third-party programs, debug, and upgrade as required. The Administrator supports both Corporate headquarters and remote program locations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Integrate software components and third-party programs. Verify and deploy programs and systems. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software. Check on the performance of various systems throughout the database and users; develop and improve functionality. Provide systems training to Corporate and Program users and offer technical support. Customize the database according to the specific needs of the users. Evaluate, recommend, and implement inventory database software appropriate for VOALA use. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment, and education verifications. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Or equivalent education and related IT experience (4 years). EXPERIENCE: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in troubleshooting PC applications (software). Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) for Database.
