DevOps Engineer (SME/Expert) - TS/SCI w/Polygraph

RCT Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 150+ FTE technical development program focused on delivering Identity Access Credential Management (ICAM) solutions. This role involves building robust systems and software utilizing cloud technologies to support a complex program.
This position requires an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
Responsibilities:
Drive software development initiatives for innovation and enhancements
Solve complex technical problems across multiple areas
Develop and deploy solutions using Commercial Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) services
Automate infrastructure and deployment processes
Utilize DevOps tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, and Rundeck
Work with software development practices, including Bash, Python, Java, Groovy, YAML, and JSON
Manage DevOps/CI/CD processes to improve workflows
Collaborate with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to align and implement User Stories
Document and deploy software builds across environments using GitFlow
Communicate project status to ensure team cohesion and effectiveness
Provide system administration and privileged access duties
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, (MS preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Skills:
Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and the software development lifecycle
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform)
Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JUnit)
Agile development experience
Expertise in Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Familiar with version control and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, Spark, Tableau, Elastic Search, ReactJS, and Human Centered Design
AWS Data Management experience and AWS certification
