As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly strategic and experienced finance leader to join our team as VP Finance/CFO. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the firm.
Job Summary:
The VP Finance/CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions of the firm, including financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management. This role will work closely with senior leadership and portfolio company executives to ensure the financial health and strategy aligns with the firm’s growth objectives. The VP Finance/CFO will also oversee and lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring scalability as the firm continues its rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the finance function, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to drive business decisions and strategy.
Manage all financial reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
Develop and implement financial processes and systems to support the firm’s growth and investment strategies.
Partner with portfolio companies to provide financial oversight, budgeting, and capital allocation strategies.
Oversee treasury, accounting, audit, tax, and risk management functions.
Lead a growing team, providing mentorship and ensuring professional development.
Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and decision-making.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Previous experience within Private Equity, investment management, or a similar industry is highly preferred.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
Experience with financial systems implementation and process improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
