Your mission is to help LP dramatically grow our Siding business by creating demand for LP SmartSide Trim and Siding products among repair & remodel contractors and ensuring placement in the channels where they purchase siding products. Own a territory sales plan to achieve annual goals and growth among repair and remodel contractors and the channels where they purchase siding products Serve as the area expert on product, proper installation, and warranty coverages Enhance LP relationships with key customers, develop mutual sales plans, provide conflict resolution where needed and keep internal stakeholders informed on a timely basis. Communicate key customer and market trends and opportunities to improve LP’s overall understanding of the customer segment. Represent the company in a professional manner consistent with LP’s sales process Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations. Perform other duties as necessary. What do I need to be successful?

Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills with proven results People management experience, excellent leadership skills with the confidence to lead, manage and engage team members (both direct and indirect reports) Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter with a bias toward action Strong skillset in written and oral communication as well as public presentation Strong ability to develop and implement plans while continuously monitoring results and implementing continuous improvement methodologies High level of computer proficiency – experience with Salesforce.com platform is a plus EXPERIENCE

4-6 years of outside sales and new customer development experience Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position Understanding of and passion for the building products industry is a plus Experience in the siding and/or exterior replacement products channel is a plus Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field preferred Work Environment

Home office environment Significant travel within territory required (50%+) Evening and occasional weekend customer-related activities Building a Better World Together
