JOB SUMMARY Navy Pier is hiring for two (2) full-time Marketing Associate positions. These positions report to the Director of Digital Strategy and Communications, with a dotted line to the Director of Integrated Media Strategy. The Marketing Associates will assist in executing digital and integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels while managing timelines and ensuring quality standards. This role involves overseeing creative brief development, facilitating meetings, and coordinating collateral management to ensure alignment among internal teams and external stakeholders, ultimately enhancing Navy Pier's reputation as a mission-driven organization and a global destination. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to successfully perform this job. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist in executing marketing deliverables across digital, website, traditional, social, and paid channels, ensuring cohesive messaging, brand consistency, and high-quality content creation for various marketing projects and campaigns. Ensure timely delivery of all marketing assets to respective agencies, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Develop and manage comprehensive creative briefs for event and programming campaigns, outlining key objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes to guide the creative process. Facilitate design and website meetings to provide clear creative direction, ensuring the agencies fully understand project goals, timelines, and expectations. Oversee the management and distribution of essential Navy Pier collateral materials, including Visitor Guides, event handouts, internal print requests, outreach materials, and on-site signage to support marketing initiatives and enhance visitor engagement. Serve as a point of contact among internal teams, PR agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment in PR messaging. Execute administrative support tasks required for various projects and marketing initiatives, including the following:

Coordinate and schedule meetings efficiently, ensuring all participants are informed and prepared. Manage the filing and organization of all marketing assets, maintaining an accessible and streamlined system for easy retrieval. Assist in preparation of presentations, reports, and other prep materials as requested. Manage marketing orders for department promotional SWAG items.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS The minimum level of knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this role include: 1-3 years

of experience in marketing, with exposure to digital marketing, social media, content creation, and project coordination. Experience working with creative agencies and managing cross-functional projects preferred. Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand strategy, and campaign execution preferred. Experience or familiarity in non-profits, cultural institutions, and tourism industry preferred. Knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media marketing strategies, including paid channels and/or content management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative direction and project requirements. Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively across departments, agencies, and stakeholders. Proficiency in marketing platforms (email, social media, website management tools) and design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is a plus. Must work

EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field.
