Senior Relay Protection & Studies Engineer , you will play a critical role in enhancing electric grid infrastructure and supporting renewable energy initiatives, such as connecting
utility-scale solar farms ,
battery energy storage systems (BESS) , and
wind farms
to utilities via substations. What You'll Do Design & Development:
Create protection schemes using microprocessor-based relays for transmission and distribution assets. Advanced Studies:
Conduct transmission power system protection studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and insulation coordination. Relay Settings:
Develop logic settings for relay schemes and ensure protective device coordination for critical assets (e.g., transformers, buses, capacitor banks). Collaborative Leadership:
Mentor junior associates, manage tasks, and act as Lead Engineer on complex studies. Client Partnerships:
