Develop cloud-native solutions using Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, and more. Design and implement a cloud-based microservices architecture, optimizing performance and reducing latency for real-time communication applications. Provide guidance on best practices for building efficient, cost-effective cloud environments while maintaining high standards of security and compliance. Platform Development & Integration: Collaborate with software engineers to architect and optimize platform services, including real-time communication (voice and video), scheduling, billing, and data storage. Drive cloud adoption by migrating existing services to Azure or integrating new features within the Azure ecosystem. Define and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or similar tools for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Ensure the operational reliability of the Azure environment, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud services. Automate and streamline processes for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Monitor and resolve cloud performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal service delivery. Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices across the platform, leveraging Azure security tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and others. Ensure that cloud services meet compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and follow proper identity and access management (IAM) protocols. Implement robust data encryption and disaster recovery strategies. Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them build their Azure cloud knowledge and skills. Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, UX/UI designers, and data scientists to ensure the seamless delivery of services.
