Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Must have expereince with CRRT and Prismaflex, Heart Expereince HIGHLY preferred, 2 years experience. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Unit Specifics: Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14 Floating required if needed: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding) Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx Drips and medications: Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG ,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun) Express Healthcare Staffing Job ID 43.
