Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cleared TS Sr. Linux Systems Engineer to support a highly cleared program with a major government customer fully onsite in Washington DC . This will be a perfect role for a subject matter expert that can work in an individual capacity but also collaborate with teams to support a federal window-centric infrastructure. Responsibilities of Sr. Linux Systems Engineer: • Lead Integration of RHEL 7/8 & Ubuntu systems into a Windows Active Directory environment, managing authentication and authorization processes with PKI certificates & Single Sign On • Configure & baseline new Linux Systems for customer use ensuring enterprise level security and compliance • Integrate Linux systems with enterprise tools such as ACAS, Splunk, SolarWinds, & backup solutions • Maintain patches across a diverse Linux environment using automated processes • Ensure compliance with evolving enterprise policies and develop an operating system lifecycle plan incorporating STIGs and other security standards • Oversee Solutions via a centralized alerting system, certifying log management and centralized forwarding.
