Apply today Niyam is seeking a SailPoint Engineer in support of our work with FEMA. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. This position is remote, but may require some travel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing IdentityIQ software solutions. This candidate will play a key role in developing and configuring code to support various components of the IdentityIQ solution, utilizing your expertise in XML, Java, BeanShell, and other technologies. Knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar platforms will be crucial in implementing and configuring IAM solutions, providing support, and advising on zero-trust ICAM enterprise architectures. Role and Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and maintain IAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ). Configure and deploy connectors to integrate SailPoint with various identity sources and target systems (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, MS Entra ID). Develop and configure code for all components of the IdentityIQ solution. Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), provisioning workflows, and automated governance processes. Perform analysis and development of custom rules, workflows, and reports in SailPoint IIQ. Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and implement technology that adds value to the organization. Implement and configure SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) to ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and scalability of the SailPoint environment. Manage and optimize user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and recertification processes. Work closely with integration stakeholders to understand requirements and drive the design, development, and implementation of IAM systems and processes. Conduct risk assessments, audit reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues and provide ongoing support for IAM processes and systems. Stay up to date with emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and security threats to proactively improve IAM infrastructure. Contribute to the design and development of zero-trust ICAM enterprise architectures. Utilize extensive experience in implementing ICAM solutions to advise on and shape architectural strategies. Develop and deploy new code into UAT and Production as part of the system development lifecycle. Qualifications and Education Requirements: US Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust through DHS. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 8 years hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including implementation, configuration, and support. Proficiency in programming languages including REST API, AWS, Jenkins, Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL. Strong knowledge of IdentityIQ configuration and IdentityIQ API. Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including identity lifecycle management, access certification, and role-based access control. Experience with integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on-premises systems. Proficiency in developing custom rules, connectors, and workflows within SailPoint IIQ. Solid understanding of identity and access governance, risk management, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of security best practices and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven expertise in designing, developing, and advising on zero-trust ICAM enterprise architectures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Prior Federal Contract Experience Relevant SailPoint certifications are highly desired.
