ECS is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Lead) to work in our Stafford, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. The Systems Administrator Lead will work with and manage a team of highly skilled systems administrators specific to a SHARP FoS system. The Lead Systems Administrator will provide a broad array of technical support functions in support of a Family of Systems (FoS) suite of applications and related NMCI, ONE-Net, CANES, DC2HS, and Azure Cloud and stand-alone environments. This job requires a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator II to manage a team of systems administrators and provide technical support functions in support of the SHARP FoS suite of applications and related environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, cybersecurity, DevOps, and technical assistance, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired Functional Experience: Hardware / Software Support: Manage the configuration of production servers and laptops to include installation / imaging, system and security patches, database administration, as well as installation and support for the enterprise applications in unclassified and classified environments IAW DoD directives and industry best practices. Ship Alteration Support: Ability to work in an industrial shipyard environment with customer support representatives to conduct shipboard installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of the enterprise applications in a virtual environment. Cybersecurity Support: Act as a cybersecurity policy liaison to capture emerging requirements to ensure full cybersecurity compliance. Responsible for the periodic vulnerability scanning, documentation, and remediation of all findings in all systems. Will support required RMF documentation artifacts as required. DevOps: Collaborate with software developers and test teams to help identify and resolve system issues early in the development lifecycle. Technical Assistance: Respond rapidly to customer / application system analyst issues via Flank Speed, email, telephone, and in-person visit / support. Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions to software and setup errors. Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion. Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge / technical access to appropriate internal resources. System Admin Training: Deliver recurring, classroom-style and / or in-person training as well as informal, ad hoc training to system administrators regarding configuration, maintenance, and operation of the enterprise applications. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system architecture, system configuration, processes, procedures as well as systems engineering RMF artifact documents. Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required for candidates with extensive specialized experience. Minimum Security Clearance Level - Secret IAT Level II certification.
