Job Summary IT Manager - Transportation Management System, will play a key role in supporting the Logistics Team, specifically the Transportation and Freight-Finance Audit teams. This position will focus on ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and enhancement of the Transportation Management System (TMS), ERP, and related systems. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between IT and logistics operations, troubleshooting system issues, supporting process improvements, and driving efficiency within logistics workflows. Essential Job Responsibilities System Support & Troubleshooting Provide day-to-day support for Transportation Management System (TMS) and ERP solutions to ensure seamless operations for logistics and freight-finance audit teams. Diagnose and resolve system issues by working closely with IT teams, external vendors, and business users. Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to address potential disruptions. Logistics & Freight-Finance Audit Support Partner with the Logistics and Freight Finance Audit teams to identify operational challenges and propose system-based solutions. Facilitate data accuracy and timely flow of information between TMS, ERP, and other integrated systems to support transportation operation, freight audit, payment, and reporting processes. Assist in automating manual tasks and optimizing logistics workflows for increased efficiency. Process Improvement & System Enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and implement system improvement Support system configuration, testing, and deployment of new TMS and ERP functionalities. Document processes, provide end-user training, and develop system guidelines for stakeholders. Collaboration & Communication Manage TMS and ERP vendors to ensure enhancements and projects meet requirements and deadlines. Act as a bridge between IT, logistics operations, and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely issues resolution. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on enhancement and project status, system performance, and issue resolutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Logistics or a related field. 5 years of experience in supporting TMS, ERP, or similar logistics systems. Strong understanding of logistics processes. Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise-level applications. Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with systems integration (XML, API, Web Services, etc.), SQL, or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
