Cybersecurity Analyst

Full Time Shaw AFB, SC

Secret and TS w/ SCI Eligibility Clearance

Job Description:

Responsibilities

The CA will be analyzing network intrusion detection systems and conducting vulnerability assessments. The CA's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.

Job duties:

• Develop methods to detect and prevent intrusive activities utilizing Assist in developing countermeasures to isolate, contain and prevent intrusive actives and secure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and manage the AFCENT/USCENTCOM security devices to include but is not limited to IDS/IPS, ESS/HBSS, and forensic tools.
• Assist in development and documentation of sensor process and checklists.
• Analyze network firewall and computer network server (DNS, proxy, domain controller, file server, Active Directory) logs.
• Develop methods to identify contain, log, and analyze intrusive activities and security vulnerabilities on AFCENT networks.
• Conduct network security monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using the AFCENT/USCENTCOM selected security tools to include but is not limited to IDS/IPS, firewall, proxy, router, Fidelis, Trellix, and LogRhythm logs.
• Write and develop custom scripts as needed to perform tasks relate to all Cybersecurity toolsets, such as custom parsers and responses.

Qualifications

• Senior-level and higher- B.S. in related field AND 5 or more years relevant experience; OR 7 or more years relevant IT experience AND Firewall. Active TS with SCI Eligibility clearance required. CISSP, Network+ or CCNA and ITIL Foundation required.
• Mid-level or lower- Associates in related field and 3 or more years' relevant IT experience; OR 5 or more years of relevant IT experience. Active Secret Clearance required. Network+ or CCNA and ITIL Foundation required.
