Tesla is on a path to build humanoid robots at scale to automate repetitive and boring tasks for manufacturing/logistics. As a member of Tesla's Optimus Simulation team, you will be in a unique position to accelerate the pace at which the Tesla Bot Autonomy stack improves over time. We do this by providing simulation environments for evaluation and testing, generating synthetic datasets and creating environments for ML model training, and working on bridging sim to real gaps.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the development of a modular, scalable simulation platform Work with all members of the Tesla Bot team to understand the simulation requirements and develop features and tools to meet those needs Keep up to date with the latest research/technologies in the fields of humanoid robotics and simulation Contribute to team member development through leadership Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience, or equivalent experience Excellent software development skills in C++ and Python Experience developing robust software that shipped to production Strong mathematical skills including linear algebra and numerical methods Comfortable developing with Linux & Git Enthusiasm to take on new challenges and learn new skills Compensation and Benefits Benefits

$120,000 - $318,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
