About the Company:
Our client has 15+ years of experience as an industry-leading international Freight Forwarding company. They offer an arrange of solutions that save their customers time and money, including Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Domestic Trucking, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing solutions, etc.
They are expanding their sales team and are looking to bring on Account Executives to their growing team in Hillside, NJ. This is an outside sales role where you'd be responsible for covering a NY metro territory.
Salary: Compensation is $55k-100k+ Base (Negotiable/flexible depending on experience) + Uncapped Commissions, full health benefits, etc.
Job Summary: As a Logistics Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business by prospecting and securing new accounts. You will work closely with internal operations team to provide customized transportation and customs brokerage services that meet the needs of our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Prospect and identify potential customers for our transportation and customs brokerage services. Generate new business by developing relationships and securing new accounts. Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives set by the company. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customized solutions are provided to meet client needs. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and provide expertise to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred. At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry. Proven experience being able to meet and exceed sales quotas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
