Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for handling various tasks in a fast-paced, cold storage distribution environment. Your role includes operating forklifts, handling inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. This position requires experience in a temperature-controlled environment and food/beverage distribution.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, both sit-down and stand-up, as well as electronic pallet jacks (single and double pallet).
• Pick orders using onboard POS computers and paper pick sheets, and utilize RF scan guns and barcode sticker printers.
• Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk.
• Perform pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, staging, and loading outbound trailers.
• Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and date coding.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Experience in food and beverage distribution.
• Proficiency in operating various forklifts and electronic pallet jacks.
• Ability to use RF scanners and barcode sticker printers.
• Strong inventory management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform job tasks.
• Capability to operate different configurations of equipment assigned, including various forklifts and handheld scanners.
• Good judgment to perform job functions safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures.
• Physical ability to meet job requirements, including standing, sitting, walking, repeated twisting, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
