ETL Developer
with expertise in
Informatica
IICS, IDMC, or Power Center to support our client in
Austin, Texas.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes for data acquisition, transformation, and integration to support enterprise-level data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with diverse data sources and developing performant ETL workflows, SQL scripts, and data models, as well as supporting data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Please Note: Position will be 3 days remote with 2 day (Wednesday and Friday) required to be onsite at Austin, TX. Program will only accept local candidates for this position.
Responsibilities:
Develop mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center. Automate data acquisition and integration from multiple data sources, including Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF. Transform source data to fit into a dimensional model and create efficient database views/materialized views in Oracle. Work with the Data Engineering Team to design and implement optimal data models and acquisition strategies. Collaborate with architects and team members to implement designs, resolve technical problems, and validate solutions. Participate in requirements and design sessions to interpret and address new business needs. Design and develop complex, fast, and efficient SQL scripts to transform and integrate data. Verify and validate SQL scripts, database views, and ETL workflows. Develop automated solutions for testing, verification, and validation. Actively participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver iterative solutions. Use tools like JIRA to manage sprint tasks and progress. Enhance and maintain a Java-based web application providing Tableau dashboards. Design and implement mockups for user validation. Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, connecting to external data sources. Produce and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and specifications. Support and enhance the data integration hub infrastructure. Assist with the implementation and configuration of development tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center. Strong SQL scripting skills and experience designing efficient, complex SQL scripts. Proven experience acquiring and integrating data from diverse sources for use in data visualization tools like Tableau. Hands-on experience designing and developing scripts using Python. Strong analytical skills and experience as a system analyst for data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data integration issues effectively. Proficiency with technical writing and diagramming tools like Visio and Erwin. Experience working in Agile sprint teams and familiarity with JIRA software. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project. Experience in planning and delivering software platforms across multiple organizational units. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of healthcare data security principles, including working with PII or PHI. Prior experience with healthcare agencies or HHS organizations. Familiarity with modern software components for data visualization or business intelligence. Experience developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs. Expertise in Tableau dashboard development and external data integration.
