Required Skills:

• Previous experience as a SharePoint Developer/Architect (5 Years)

• UI experience (4 Years)

• UX experience (4 Years)

• Developing custom SharePoint solutions (4 Years)

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform licensing, the API limits, and throttling limitations within Power Platform (3 Years)

• Creating complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate (5 Years)

• Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management (5 Years)

• Professional experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies (4 Years)

Desired Skills:

• In-depth understanding of SharePoint in a records management, information governance or compliance role ideally with strong Records Management knowhow (Highly desired) (2 Years)

• In-depth understanding of the Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, and O365 platforms (2 Years)

• PL-100: Power Platform App Maker Associate (2 Years)

The Client seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency.

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs

• Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach

• Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliances, adherence to VDH design standards and provide a seamless user experience

• Understand and troubleshoot security issues, customer questions and other inquiries as needed

• Understand and apply VDH approved standards and processes

• Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies, creating and managing file plans and building simple workflows and processes

• Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines

• Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution

• Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts

• Facilitate trainings and education opportunities
