Maintains production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and plant mechanical equipment.
Shifts: C Shift: Thurs-Sat, every other Wed; 5:25am to 6:00pm

Responsibilities Essential Functions: Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical and electrical equipment by completing preventive and planned maintenance requirements on plant equipment. Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery. Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment. Follow all procedures with regard to Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry. Comply with all safety and health policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Comply with current Quality System requirements. Follow Lean Manufacturing procedures. Perform other work as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: Occasional heavy lifting of 70 pounds, routine lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment. Withstand occasional exposure to extreme environmental conditions such as heat, cold, odors, and dust. Ability to climb ladders, squat, bend, and work in confined spaces.
Equipment Used: Hand and Power Tools, welders, grinders, torch, 2-way radio Personal protective equipment as required
Qualifications Education, Experience, Skills Required: Must achieve passing score on pre-employment assessment Mechanical skills Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
