This role collaborates with suppliers to build strong partnerships that align with Stryten Energys requirements. By focusing on continuous improvement and strategic initiatives, this position will play a critical role on the Quality team.ResponsibilitiesWork with suppliers to develop and continuously improve their capabilities to reliably deliver high quality products on-timeDevelop long-term supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideasWrite reports, maintain timelines and log sheets for frequent updates, multi-taskingInterface between suppliers and Stryten quality, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on design for manufacturability, design for testingStrategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting Stryten requirements. Projects may include: process analysis, value stream mapping, process capability, throughput analysis, 6-Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen eventsScreening, evaluation, and implementation of supplier Value Add/Value Engineering proposalsDrive and/or co-define documentation best practices with EngineeringContribute as core team member as required on transition projectsDrive “Zero Defects” mentality within the supply baseSupport all of Americas business groups equallyQualificationsTechnical Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college.
