Job Overview:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for reading and following drawings, prints, and work instructions to perform assembly tasks. The role involves becoming proficient in all assembly and special processes, gathering and recording data accurately, and ensuring that quality and productivity standards are met. The technician may be required to use technical equipment, such as comparators, microscopes, and other measuring tools. Additionally, cross-training in other departments may be required as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and follow drawings, prints, and work instructions accurately.
• Become proficient in all assembly and special processes as required.
• Gather and record data accurately, ensuring precision in all tasks.
• Detect and correct errors, utilizing company communication and quality methodology.
• Meet documented and communicated standards for quality and productivity.
• Use technical equipment, such as comparators, microscopes, and other measuring devices.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Ability to work under general supervision.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods of time.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee due to ITAR/EAR regulations.
