Working arrangement: Fully onsite in Nashville, TN W2 position; 12+ months. Possiblitiy to convert to FTE. USA residency requirement on background screening for this role. Contingent Personnel who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last (5) years prior to assignment to the Company's applicable government contract. Summary: The IT Project Manager will oversee full SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies. - 75% Waterfall/ 25% Agile PMO Framework Alignment Ability to manage 2-3 projects simultaneously Develop schedule in MS Project Track developer progress Track schedule/cost variance CMMI-DEV (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and EVM (Earned Value Management) experience IT Project Management Healthcare (Medicare/Medicaid) experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and schedule management Background in Healthcare / Medicare is needed. Top skills: Managing multiple projects simultaneously Critical Thinking /Problem Solving/ Decision Making Ability to understand technical components and integration Background in Healthcare / Medicare is needed. Certifications: CAPM certification PMP certification Preferred: working towards the PMP Scrum Master certification SAFe Scaled Agile Certification Minimum required work experience: 3 years IT experience in a leadership capacity on one or more project teams. Completion of the BCBSSC Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of work experience. Job/class description: Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts. Responsible for lesser number of work efforts simultaneously and work efforts consisting of smaller size, low complexity and minimum system and customer impacts. Adheres to project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted hours, adheres to high quality standards, and meets ISSM expectations. Monitors project plans, assignments and work efforts on a daily basis. Ensures resource needs are assigned appropriately and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues. Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort. Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation. Develops and monitors project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post implementation. Ensures project documentation and deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards. Identifies items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort. Monitors resource requirements based on project specifications. Ensures resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted. Responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of project communications. Facilitates effective communications between all parties involved in the project and/or work efforts. This will include meetings, correspondence, status reports and other documentation. Identifies the impact of issues arising from the work efforts and/or resource requirements. Manages the project issues throughout the project life cycle. Communicates the implications of changes to the project scope with appropriate parties. Responsible for ensuring all work efforts have appropriate documentation for audit purposes utilizing project methodology standards in accordance with the ISSM. Demonstrated leadership skills in a team or project environment. Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management/resolution skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Understanding of project management principles and methodologies, information systems, business processes, and the key drivers and measures of success for the business unit and the organization. Demonstrated competency in management of resources to meet goals and multiple projects. Basic ability to lead one or more multidiscipline, high-performance work teams throughout project life cycle. Ability to negotiate terms and scope of work documents. Ability to prepare and present formal presentations. Ability to manage all phases of work effort from inception to completion. Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools. Work environment: The Service Delivery Project Management Office is responsible for providing resources to include project managers and systems analysts to support and implement the software development life cycle (SDLC) supporting Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) contracts. Responsibilities include oversight for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Their collaborative approach to software development allows for an agile environment with focus on quality. Processes are aligned with ISO, CMMI-DEV, PMI, and IIBA best practices. Required education/equivalencies: Bachelor's degree; OR, Associates degree in any major plus 2 years of work-related experience; OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 7 years without a degree) Interested?
