Make your mark with an organization that values quality, service, and the lasting impact you can bring Position is located in Seattle, WA with a Hybrid Work Schedule Position Overview: Business Analysts are responsible for analysis to support the growth and profitability of our products and services. The Business Analyst will evaluate strategic opportunities related to current and future product offerings and business unit operations. With guidance from management, this position conducts industry research and analysis regarding new and existing products and will recommend and implement new pricing and product design strategies required to develop new products, project future results, or reprice existing products. Similar analysis will be done related to Grange business unit operations in order to refine current processes, develop beneficial insights, and improve unit efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, optimize existing offerings, and inform strategic decisions Leverage advanced analytical tools to uncover actionable insights Conduct in-depth industry analysis to inform the development of products and services Drive business performance by identifying opportunities and challenges through data-driven analysis Shape the future of business intelligence by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define strategic projects Take ownership of projects, from inception to completion, to deliver impactful results Fuel business growth by harnessing the power of industry and queried internal data to inform strategic decisions Automate routine tasks and reports while optimizing workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity Qualifications: REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree or four additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree. 1-2 years of product/data analysis experience required. Some experience with insurance contracts, product pricing, and how state regulations impact the business. Knowledge of standard industry personal lines, commercial and farm insurance lines of business and underwriting practices. Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Statistics, Math/financial/quantitative skills. Critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions, while being able to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience. Excellent communication and relationship building skills with strong focus on customer service and influencing leadership decisions.
