About the Role
We're looking for a
proactive, driven Outside Sales Manager
who brings strong connections within the New Orleans community and is ready to help us grow our private events, venue buyouts, and corporate bookings. This role is all about building relationships-using your local network to drive new business while leveraging our already established presence in the city. If you're a natural networker with a deep understanding of New Orleans' event scene, and you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, we want you to join our team!
What You'll Do Leverage Your Community Connections : Tap into your established network of local VIPs, corporate clients, and event planners to bring new business to Red Fish Grill, capitalizing on our community reputation and your relationships. Sell the Experience : Craft customized proposals for high-end events, showcasing our unique venue, exceptional service, and New Orleans' vibrant cultural atmosphere. Drive Revenue : Actively seek out venue buyouts, corporate events, and private bookings, building on your local relationships and our brand's strong presence in the community. Network Like a Pro : Attend local industry events, entertain prospective clients, and use your connections to keep Red Fish Grill at the forefront of New Orleans' event scene. Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with marketing, operations, and culinary teams to ensure that every event is flawlessly executed, creating memorable experiences for your clients. Master the Tools : Use Tripleseat software to manage proposals, contracts, and event details efficiently, ensuring smooth coordination across all teams. Promote Exclusive Events : Partner with marketing to create buzz for high-profile events and group experiences that highlight Red Fish Grill's role as an iconic New Orleans venue. What We're Looking For
Strong Community Connections : You have a well-established network in New Orleans, with relationships across the hospitality, corporate, and events industries. Your local knowledge is a huge asset in driving sales and creating memorable experiences. Proven Sales Experience : At least 2-4 years in event sales, catering, or hospitality, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Bonus if you've worked in New Orleans' event or hospitality scene. Passion for People : You thrive on building relationships and delivering personalized service to clients-especially in the context of New Orleans' tight-knit community. Excellent Communication Skills : You can easily engage with clients, colleagues, and vendors, making sure every event detail is clearly communicated and executed.
