Work Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6 AM-2:30 PM plus overtime as needed.

Pay : The hourly pay rate range for this position is $21.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Kirkwood and may not be applicable to other locations.

To adequately and efficiently transport product, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility. Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner.
What you will do:
Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shipping Stages for shipping once wrapped Conduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational compliance Fuel forklifts as required Safe forklift operation throughout the facility. Abide by safety rules and regulations Receive items into the facility/Ships all items correct to the customer Replace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environment Must understand all shipping documents to understand the space required for product Directs warehouse and production associates to expedite the loading/unloading of materials Maintain a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned What you will need:
Prior Forklift operation in manufacturing environment HS Diploma or GED preferred Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Understand commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within department Self-driven, accountable, high integrity, open communicator, strong work ethic Required to mount and dismount forklift multiple times per day Forklift knowledge and safety procedures Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment Solid verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills Ability to organize and maintain detailed records Desirable (but not required): Intermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, with fast and accurate data entry skills Ability to lift to 50+ lbs. Regular attendance and timeliness Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written
