What you will be doing:
Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with chronic or acute pain conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized pain management strategies, which may include medications, therapies, and interventional procedures such as injections. Injection Work: Perform various types of injections (e.g., epidural injections, nerve blocks, trigger point injections) to alleviate pain and improve functionality. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on pain management techniques, medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment outcomes and quality of life.
Skills you need:
Eligibility to be licensed in NY as a NP or PA
