Responsibilities

Assemble intricate aerospace hinges, including retainers, safety wires, and complex components
-
Read and interpret manufacturing plans and basic dimensional drawings
-
Perform touch-up work on parts to ensure high-quality finishes
-
Clip pins to precise specifications and rivet parts together with attention to detail
-
Inspect complex assemblies for visual and functional quality, ensuring part geometry is maintained
-
Accurately log work and track progress, ensuring proper documentation
-
Manage material flow in staging areas to maintain efficiency and prevent delays
-
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following 5S principles
-
Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them quickly
-
Adherence to protocols, punctuality, and a focus on maintaining quality standards
The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
