Responsibilities

• Assemble intricate aerospace hinges, including retainers, safety wires, and complex components

• Read and interpret manufacturing plans and basic dimensional drawings

• Perform touch-up work on parts to ensure high-quality finishes

• Clip pins to precise specifications and rivet parts together with attention to detail

• Inspect complex assemblies for visual and functional quality, ensuring part geometry is maintained

• Accurately log work and track progress, ensuring proper documentation

• Manage material flow in staging areas to maintain efficiency and prevent delays

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following 5S principles

• Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them quickly

• Adherence to protocols, punctuality, and a focus on maintaining quality standards

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
