Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 16 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Estimated payment breakdown $2406.00-$2606.00/wk $1160.00-$1360.00 in weekly taxable income $29.00/hr-$34.00/hr Estimate assumes an 8 hour shift. Hourly rate may change based on shift length. $1246.00 in non-taxable stipend Actual amount subject to eligibility and seasonal/annual adjustments • Checks room daily for adequate stock necessary to facilitate continuous exam flow. Maintains appropriate inventory asindicated by posted par levels and updates supply lists when items are needed.• Confirms patient identity with approved identifiers.• Demonstrating age appropriate care with all patients, appropriately prepares patients for procedures.• Verifies patient’s pregnancy and informed consent statuses.• Assesses factors that may contraindicate the procedure; such as, medication contraindications, patient risk for reaction tomedications, patient history, laboratory results, insufficient patient preparation or artifacts.• Based on order, determines type and dose of contrast agent to be administered based on patient’s age, weight andmedical/physical status.• Anticipates and responds to patients needs throughout the entire encounter.• Ensures all non-MRI personnel are screened prior to entry into Zones III & IV.
