The Role
Our Retail and Consumer Good Practice group is looking for a Finance Process Consultant to join our journey.
We’re looking for Senior Manager who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Manager, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant’s industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Responsibilities
- Process Management: Solid comprehension of process management concepts, BPM technology, Workflow tools, and preferably, previous experience with Power BI/process mining/process governance tools.
- Process Documentation and Intelligence: Proven experience in creating current and future state process documentation using BPMN 2.0 and a Business Process Management (BPM) tool, along with a strong understanding of Process Intelligence, process mining concepts, and other process analytics techniques.
- Knowledge of Tools: Experience in utilizing Business Process Management (BPM) tool such as LucidCharts, IBM Blueworks, Signavio, ARIS etc
- Mapping current processes: Using process mapping techniques and software to document the retailer's current processes
- Analyzing processes: Providing feedback on current processes with areas of improvement, rationalizing steps, reducing costs
- Redesigning processes: Recommending redesigns for processes and working with the retailer to test them
- Communicating changes: Helping the retailer communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders
- Implementing and optimizing processes: Helping the retailer implement new processes and monitor and optimize them
- Providing documentation: Providing the retailer with documentation of "As Is" and "To Be" processes, as well as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications:
- Around 10+ years of experience as a Finance Process Consultant within Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Hospitality (RCGTH) Space.
- Must have experience reviewing existing financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and potential risks within the financial operations.
- Conducting data analysis to identify trends and patterns impacting financial performance
- Utilize financial measures and analysis of operational impacts to evaluate the cost and benefits of current processes and identification of potential areas for improvement
- Proven experience with process mapping and documentation with a successful track record of delivering projects.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

- Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering,) required.

Location: Remote, Open to travel

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 12/30/2024
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
