Job Title: International Tax Manager


Salary Range: $115k - 145k + Bonus + RSUs


Job Overview: As a key member of our Tax team, the Associate Manager, International Tax will be heavily involved in all aspects of US international tax for a global company operating in 80+ countries. This role will primarily include supporting the US international compliance of our domestic tax returns in collaboration with our co-sourced external tax provider, international aspects of the income tax provision, and management of local country tax compliance for selected countries.


Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation and/or review of quarterly and annual international aspects of the global income tax provision (ASC 740), including BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, E&P, FTC, and FIN 48.
  2. Support external service provider in the preparation of all required US international tax compliance forms for foreign entities such as Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865.
  3. Prepare and/or review Country by Country Report (CbCR) and notifications.
  4. Prepare Pillar II tax regime quarterly safe-harbor calculations and assist with Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) implementation.
  5. Oversee foreign vendor withholding taxes including review of certificates, remittances, and annual Form 1042 filings.
  6. Responsible for local country management of foreign income tax matters in designated countries, indirect tax, and other tax information with the support of external service providers and working with management.
  7. Monitor current international tax developments for potential implications to the company.
  8. Research and analyze impact of enacted and potential law changes and prepare memos and action plans to support tax positions.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in public accounting with preference working for a Big 4 Firm with significant US international tax compliance experience.
  2. Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Economics required. Master's in Taxation a plus. Will also consider those with a law degree that have been focused in international tax.
  3. CPA certification highly encouraged.
  4. Strong working knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, with an emphasis on the US International provisions.
  5. Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills.
