Position Summary

The Managing Director Investor Relations will be instrumental in Westcore's strategy to expand and diversify its limited partner (LP) base, with a particular emphasis on engaging institutional investors, family offices, and select registered investment advisors (RIAs). Serving as the primary point of contact for investors, this leader will ensure clear and effective communication of the company's financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, the role will encompass capital-raising efforts, nurturing relationships with existing and potential investors, and advancing the firm’s overarching growth objectives.


Core Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
  3. Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive positioning to provide insights to senior management.
  4. Identify and engage with potential new investors to expand the investor base.

Primary Duties

  1. Facilitate regular updates and communications, including earnings reports, investor presentations, and newsletters.
  2. Organize and lead investor meetings, site tours, and conferences.
  3. Craft clear, compelling, and consistent messaging around the company’s financial performance, business strategy, and industry outlook.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to align messaging with corporate objectives and market positioning.
  5. Analyze investor feedback and adjust communication strategies accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, institutional investors, and other stakeholders.
  8. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and board of directors on investor-related matters.

Desired Skills And Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, or related roles within the commercial real estate or finance industry.
  3. Proven track record of building and managing investor relationships at a senior level.
  4. Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and capital markets.
  5. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to think strategically and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in investor relations software, CRM tools, and financial modeling.
