Job Details Prepare and oversee accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Ensure proper accounting procedures and controls are followed for all plant financial activities. Collaborate with corporate finance to consolidate plant results into company-wide financial reports. Develop, maintain, and improve standard cost accounting processes, including tracking and reporting on material costs, labor, and overhead. Analyze variances and report on material usage, labor efficiency, and production overhead to identify areas for cost improvement. Conduct regular inventory reconciliations, manage physical inventory counts, and ensure proper valuation of inventory. Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with operations and corporate teams. Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support plant operations and decision-making. Act as a key business partner to the Plant Manager, contributing to strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Monitor capital expenditures and prepare ROI analyses for plant investments.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred). Strong expertise in cost accounting, GAAP, and financial statement preparation. Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
