The Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program with Pediatrix Neonatology of San Antonio is a 12-month intensive program designed for graduate physician assistants (PAs) seeking to subspecialize in neonatology. This program provides PAs with the crucial skills needed to deliver comprehensive, team-based care for high-risk and convalescing newborns. The program runs 12-months and includes:
- Mentoring
- Didactic teaching
- Simulations
- Skills training
- Clinical experiences
Pediatrix Medical Group of San Antonio:
- The group provides a full range of newborn/neonatal care in three inner-city hospital systems with multiple Level-II and Level-III+ NICUs
- The medical community includes a wide range of mother and infant subspecialists supported by two children s hospitals for this growing South Texas area
- Responsibilities include managing and facilitating comprehensive neonatal care including programs for HFOV, nitric oxide and ECMO
- We welcome new graduates and provide a comprehensive new graduate orientation and mentor program

Qualifications:- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA Program
- Must be a NCPPA Certified PA prior to matriculating
- Must attain licensure as a PA in TX prior to matriculating
