OEM Technical Marketing Manager

OEM Technical Marketing Manager Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP Business Development, in this cross-function role you will be responsible for the development and growth of SSD/DRAM and embedded memory products with a focus on OEM customers and ecosystem partners. In addition to business, this role covers field application engineering and customer program management upon assignment, working with a centralized team in Asia to support customers in North America and LATAM. With demonstrated success in relationship building, technical sales and organization, you will manage the full engagement from lead to close.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and expand business relationship with customers
  • Win OEM business and handle sales activities
  • Promote product and technology to US market and OEM customers
  • Handle technology communications between customers and R&D
  • Pursue and enhance the technical collaboration with SoC vendors and OEM customers
  • Provide top-notch pre- and post- sales technical support to OEM customers and SoC partners
  • Expertise in embedded storage (eMMC/UFS/NAND) and/or SSD (client and enterprise)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong US OEM customer sales/BD experience (5+ Yrs)
  • Storage and Memory industry experience
  • Good connection with US OEM customers and SoC providers
  • Sufficient knowledge on mobile/industrial/automotive storage and memory
  • Strong technical knowledge on storage and memory products
  • 5+ Yrs FAE or related technical support experience
  • Build trustworthy relationship with OEM engineering team

Qualifications:

  • Ability to think fast and come to rational conclusions quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the company and end customers
  • Must be a high-energy, hands-on, creative thinking and risk-taking individual
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing market environment
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficient using internet websites and other online tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
