Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly qualified, Neonatologist to join our well established group in Augusta, Georgia. Piedmont Augusta (formerly University Hospital) is a 812-bed, acute-care facility that serves the Augusta-Richmond County area and 25 counties across two states.

  • Coverage includes a 28-bed Level-III NICU and Normal Newborn Nursery with approximately 3000 deliveries per year and an average daily NICU census of 15
  • This position will include one week per month of NICU attending, a flexible number of weeks providing term nursery coverage, plus 25% coverage during four holiday weeks (Masters, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
  • Team of 4 Neonatologists and 5 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with 24/7 in house NNP coverage and physician call from home
