We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of eCommerce to lead and optimize our online sales operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of our eCommerce platform, driving digital sales growth, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Shopify and Klaviyo, along with a strong background in eCommerce strategy, digital marketing, and analytics.

We are a fast growing consumer goods brand that sells to the mass market. We operate a 5x per week on-site schedule and need someone who is open to that type of working environment.
Description
- eCommerce Strategy & Growth: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive eCommerce strategies to achieve sales targets, increase brand visibility, and drive customer engagement.
- Shopify Management: Oversee the daily management and optimization of the Shopify store, including product listings, navigation, performance, and user experience. Ensure the platform is optimized for mobile and desktop users.
- Email Marketing & Automation (Klaviyo): Lead email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo, ensuring segmentation, personalization, and automation to increase conversions and customer retention. Develop, implement, and track performance of automated flows such as welcome emails, cart abandonment, post-purchase, and re-engagement.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Collaborate with other teams (Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, etc.) to integrate eCommerce initiatives across all digital channels, including paid search, social media, SEO, and influencer marketing.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze eCommerce KPIs and other performance metrics to make data-driven decisions. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on sales performance, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- User Experience & Conversion Optimization: Work closely with the design and development teams to enhance the user experience, optimize website performance, and increase conversion rates through A/B testing and user feedback.
- Customer Journey: Focus on improving the entire customer journey from acquisition to post-purchase to foster long-term customer loyalty and retention.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the eCommerce team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Inventory & Order Management: Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and smooth order fulfillment processes. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Shopify, including product setup, theme customization, and app integrations.
- Extensive experience using Klaviyo for email marketing and automation.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce analytics and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Klaviyo Analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to drive eCommerce growth through strategic initiatives, cross-channel marketing, and continuous optimization.
- Experience in managing a P&L and setting/achieving financial goals.
- Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, conversion rate optimization, and customer retention strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
