Overview:
We are seeking a per diem, experienced, Board Certified neonatologist to join our outstanding group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners at our Macon, Georgia practice. Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital, located in Macon, Georgia is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Our practice consists of a 66-bed, state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU
- Services provided include: high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and a brain cooling
- Readily available subspecialty support
- Exceptional coverage by experienced NNPs
- Atrium Health Navicent is a designated Level-I trauma center and one of six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia
- Opened new 50,000 square foot neonatal intensive care unit: Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital in the first quarter of 2019: Children's Hospital | Atrium Health Navicent | Macon, GA (childrenshospitalnh.org)
- Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
- GA license or active IMLC required
