Neonatal Hospitalist - Central Florida - US News & World Report Top Ranked Hospital System

Responsibilities:

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Hospitalist to join its practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the Orlando Health family.

  • Coverage of Newborn Nursery and attendance at deliveries
  • Schedule of 10 24-hour shifts per month
  • Hospital opening date in early 2025
  • Annual projected deliveries of 1,000 with an adc in the newborn nursery of 6-7
  • Level II NICU projected adc of 5-6 by year end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24/7 coverage
  • Team of Neonatologists, NNPs and Neonatal Hospitalist
  • Supported by the Orlando Health flagship NICU located at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a 142-bed, Level-IV NICU

  • 124-bed hospital with a key focus on women s health, including labor and delivery services and a future neonatal intensive care unit
