Description
Superintendent - Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of all work
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications, and resolve issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Regularly communicate project status to senior management
Profile
Superintendent - Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in construction, with a preference for 10+ years
- Strong experience in public/municipal projects is ideal (residential experience not considered)
- Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, Microsoft, and Newforma
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage large-scale projects with budgets ranging from $1M to $50M
- Must be located in Rhode Island or within proximity to the Rhode Island border
